Win a Ham!

Yes, t-shirt competition time has rolled around again - this time we are giving away a ham! Sort of……make sense of it all here

Ham Ahoy!

Well darn your socks and hog tie your pants it’s time for the next installment in the never ending story that is the "Win a Shirticus" competition series.  This month we are giving you the chance to win a ham fit for even the most devout vegetarians. Yes my delicious friends, the prize this month is a generous serving of one of our favourite shirt designs, "One Ham Clapping".

So I guess you want to know how to win now ya? And I guess you want me to tell you ya? Ok I give in. Once again we have devised a question so mind numbingly simple that you may not even feel your brain move as you answer it.

The question is - What exotic item will rich trophy wives of the future have to purchase to have their pools cleaned? To give one of our now famous huge hints, have a look in the Talking Shirty section of this website.

All you need to do is email your answer and your name to competitions at shirticus.com. Competition closes November 17th (at half past midnight!) and winners will be announced the following week.

Note: Your email address information will not be used to send unsolicited email. If you would like to subscribe to our mailing list to be notified of new designs, competitions, special offers and other cool Shirticus things then simply answer yes to the subscribe option in the body of your email and you can be part of the gang.

Previous Shirt of the Moment

 Infinity Ball

What do you get when you turn an 8 ball on it’s side? The infinity symbol is what! You won’t find an easier way into the void than that!

Note: that this fact was discovered after a night of Absynthe and Laudanum when a certain individual who shall rename nameless (Stu) passed out on the pool table. It took him three weeks to remove the dribble encrusted felt from his cheek.

Check it out now in the Shirtalogue.

Lets All Have Robots!

According to a report issued by the United Nations, the use of robots around the home to mow lawns, vacuum floors and manage other chores is set to surge sevenfold by 2007 as more and more consumers snap up "smart" machines. According to the report 4.1 million domestic robots will likely be in use by the end of 2007 with vacuum cleaners making up the majority and sales of window-washing and pool-cleaning robots will be likely to grow.

Now maybe I am a little on the cautious side, but the idea of leaving a "robot" in control of a petrol powered, sharp bladed machine seems like a recipe for disaster. And what happens when they accidentally get the chips mixed up at the factory and the robot lawn mower thinks it’s a vacuum cleaner and wants to come inside? As for the idea of a robot pool cleaner, what will become of the rich trophy wives right to a hot Latino pool boy? Perhaps all she could hope for in our robotised future is a hot Latino pool bot?

Of course it doesn’t take a sci-fi novelist to tell us that it won’t be long before this race towards automation will blindly replace the majority of human tasks and endeavors until we are little more than jellified lumps being fed through tubes in front of a high definition tv, and as predicted on the wonderful Futurama, watching robot soapies, android crime shows and computer generated comedy.

Us puny humans don’t stand a chance!

Winfinity Winner!

After wading through the entries of yet another extremely popular competition, we managed to pluck a lucky winner out of the pile - Glenda Millward from the tropical climes of sunny Queensland! Nice work Glenda. We will be contacting you shortly about your fabulous prize of a Shirticus Infinity Ball t-shirt.

We’d like to thank everyone who entered and remind you all that our next monthly competition will be announced next week (19th Sept) for yet another chance to win an original Shirticus shirt.

Which Sway Competition Closed

You had your chance and now it’s time to nervously wait as we trawl through the enormous pile of entries and draw out a winner. Thanks to everyone who entered. We love you all and we consider you to all be winners, however only only one person actually "wins" the shirt and the cd. Well I mean it wouldn’t be a competition otherwise?

The winner will be announced winner Friday the 15th.

Time to cross your fingers!

Big Lovin,

Team Shirticus
