					<description>Actually it was conceived on the infamous &quot;Day of Typos&quot;. Shamelessly seeking celebrity endorsement from a sports star of yesteryear, Cam hit upon the idea of a tennis player. &quot;John Newcombe!&quot; he cried. Then Stu hit upon Cam with a tennis racquet. &quot;No! people think facial hair, not shirts when they think of Newc. Besides he endorsed the Liberal Party (Australian conservatives) for many a long year. We need Rod &quot;Hit&quot; Laver. Being creative types we chose not to correct this serendipitous phrase as it tumbled out from the intern's word processor. before we knew it, Mr Laver had changed his name by deed-pole.</description>
